Off road bikes worth £12,000 stolen

Determined thieves stole three off-road motorcycles worth a total of £12,000 when they broke into a Neath Hill garage last night.

The owners are now urging people to keep their eyes peeled and contact them if they spot the bikes.

Crooks broke down a garage door and used bolt cutters to cut through chains that were securing the bikes.

Owners Barry Musk and Craig Dower are hoping somebody would have spotted them removing the machines in a van or trailer some time between 11pm last night and 6am this morning.

“They use the bikes for off road racing and they’re devastated to lose them. Because they’re not used on the road, they are not be insured,” said Barry’s sister Kerry.

“We’re hoping Citizen readers can come to the rescue and help us get these bikes back,” she added.

Two of the bikes are Hondas. One is a red CRF450 with a blue seat, and the other is a red and black CRF250. The third bike is a yellow Suzuki RM2250.
