Robbers stamp on victims head to steal bike

A 19-YEAR-OLD man was assaulted and robbed as he rode his bike along Bradwell Common Boulevard on Friday (15/7).

At about 9.15pm, a the man was cycling along Bradwell Common Boulevard towards Rooksley.

The victim had just passed the Chinese takeaway when he was hit on the side of his head by a man and fell off his bike. While on the ground, the man stamped on his head three to four times, then picked up his bike and rode off towards Rooksley.

The stolen mountain bike is black with white stickers across the crossbar of the frame.

The victim suffered cuts and grazes to his arms, hands and legs and attended Milton Keynes General Hospital for treatment.

The offender is white, aged 17 to 19-years-old, clean shaven, with short, black gelled hair with a quiff at the front. He was wearing a black T-shirt and grey tracksuit bottoms.

Detective Constable Reg Jones said, “The victim is not seriously injured but was left very shaken by the incident. I am keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or recognises the description of the offender.”
