A royal thank you for kiddies

Children and staff at Kiddi Caru’s day nursery in Walnut Tree received a thank you letter from Buckingham Palace, for a birthday card the youngsters designed for the Queen.

Earlier this year, some of the pre-school children decided to make the best card they possibly could to mark the Queen’s 90th birthday.

Senior nursery manager Louise Higgins said: “The children love our royal family and spent a long time coming up with their favourite design for a birthday card for her Majesty. They were so vexcited to receive a reply and the letter now has pride of place in the children’s room.”
