It’s been all go at Stoke Goldington CE First School lately.
Pupils enjoyed an action-packed and informative Healthy Week during which the early years children met the village’s indoor bowls club.
The eager youngsters learned how to play the game before enthusiastically cheering on the club’s adult players.
Meanwhile, safety came first for the Year 2 pupils at the school when they enjoyed a trip to the Hazard Alley Safety Centre.
Eight children learned an assortment of safety awareness skills including how to make an emergency 999 telephone call, how to get someone correctly into the recovery position, how to stay safe during visits to the seaside and what to do in the event of a fire.
