A charity swap shop will be hosted at Hobbycraft in Rooksley next Saturday (January 31) from 11am-3pm.
Store colleagues and crafty customers can pick up something new in exchange for their own previously loved items plus a small donation.
Funds raised will go to local hospice Keech Hospice Care, which the store is supporting through Hobbycraft’s national charity partner Together For Short Lives, the leading charity for the UK’s 49 children’s hospices.
Store manager Gary Furniss said: “A new year is the ideal time to have a clear out of things you don’t want or need anymore – so why not donate these to a really worthy cause? And who knows, your might discover something you really love in the process.”
