Elliot Daniel (pictured) was one of the few children selected at an audition at Birmingham Royal Ballet’s school, Elmhurst, for their exclusive training programme. He’ll be joining a small group of specially selected children once a month to receive coaching from some of Elmhurst, and BRB’s most experienced dancers and teachers.

Students from Dancebox Studios also performed brilliantly at the British Ballet Organisation’s Scholars auditions at their prestigious new home on the banks of the Thames in London.

In the Senior Jazz Scholars just three spaces were available, and in a room full of the best dancers from schools across the South of the UK, Dancebox students Millie Lopes (centre) and Shannon Ward (kneeling middle row left) were awarded two of the spaces!

There was also success in the Junior Ballet Scholars auditions, with Gennaro Calleia, Elliot Daniel, Alfie Ewens and Mylee Young gaining places on the programme.
