An impressive venue and some even more impressive singing made the Fulbrook Middle School Choir’s latest gig one to remember.
Youngsters hit all the high notes just before the end of the Christmas term when they performed a seasonal selection of cracking Christmas carols at St Paul’s Cathedral in London.
After plenty of rehearsal sessions at school, the choir was accompanied by Miss Spallin, head of music, and headteacher Simon Cardwell on the journey to London.
The pupils joined up with four other schools from Central Bedfordshire for the mammoth carol service, which was held to raise funds for the Barnardo’s children’s charity.
Parents also travelled into the capital to enjoy the service and appreciate pupils’ hard work fine-tuning their performance.
Miss Spallin said: “The children were wonderful.”
