Teams from RAF Squadrons based around the UK will compete in Dragon Boat Races at Willen Lake on Saturday.
A total of eight teams have signed up so far to get wet and wild in the RAF Benevolent Fund event, from 10am to 3.30pm. They include groups from RAF High Wycombe, RAF Benson in Wallingford and RAF Marham in Norfolk.
The RAF Benevolent Fund is fundraising to mark the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.
Regional fundraiser Emily Fry said: “For the first time, squadrons will be pitted against each other in the unfamiliar arena of the dragon boat race.
“We have a superb day of family activities planned so those watching will have just as many thrills and spills as those taking part.”
Attractions include a Spitfire flypast and a Chinook helicopter display. There will be entertainment along the banks of the lake as well as bars and restaurants for refreshments.
