Swimming, arts and crafts and a bouncy castle will all be part of a family fun day due to be held at Woughton Leisure Centre this Saturday.
The event at the leisure centre in Milton Keynes runs from 10am until 2pm and will include lots of activities for children and for all the family.
The fun day will launch the new membership scheme, and staff will be available to show residents the health club facilities on offer and the different types of membership available.
As well as the health club, there are a range of fitness classes and other activities at the centre.
Leisure, Learning and Culture assistant director for Milton Keynes Council, Paul Sanders, said: “On the day you can come and try some of these classes and activities in the ‘come and try’ sessions.
“We are hoping that many residents will see the advantages of getting fit for the New Year and will consider taking up membership.”
The bar will also be open for refreshments and there will be face painting for the children.
