WITH the upcoming Royal Wedding a charity store is helping new brides get their fairytale day.

The Mind shop in Bletchley is calling on people to donate old wedding and bridesmaid dresses so people can enjoy their own stylish wedding without the regal budget.

People can also donate groom and best man suits as well as pins and ties to suit the men as well.

Shop manager Elizabeth Lawrence said: “As Royal Wedding fever grips the nation, we hope that local residents will get into the spirit and donate their wedding outfits and gifts to our local Mind shop or join us during Mind’s wedding shopping week to pick up a bargain.

“All brides-to-be want to feel like a princess on their big day and we’re appealing to ladies to part with their beautiful gowns to help raise money to support people with mental health problems.”

The money raised by the charity shop serves as an important source of funding.

Elizabeth said: “We know that people from Milton Keynes are incredibly generous and by donating or shopping with Mind it’s a fantastic way for them to do something charitable and feel like part of a landmark event.”
