Joseph Jacobs, 52, from Sandage Road, Lane End in High Wycombe, pleaded guilty to possession of class A drug (cocaine) with intent to supply at Aylesbury Crown Court on Monday where he was sentenced to five years and three months in prison.

On May 16 last year officers executed a warrant under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act, at a property in Sanadage Road, Lane End, High Wycombe.

During the search officers located a quarter of a kilo of cocaine within the fridge of the address, with a street value of £25,000. Smaller quantities of cannabis and amphetamine were also located within the address along with £500 cash.

Jacobs was arrested on the day of the warrants and on February 22 was charged with Possession of Cocaine with intent to supply.

Investigating officer, Det Con Matt Kent, CID, said bringing Jacobs to justice sends out a strong message to the Bucks drug dealing scene.

“This is a significant sentence which reflects Jacobs’ involvement in the supply of class A drugs to customers in the High Wycombe area.

“A large quantity of cocaine has been taken off the streets, which no doubt stopped the supply. If this had not happened the drugs would have been on the street and Jacobs would have made a significant financial gain from its sale.

“Thames Valley takes all reports of drug dealing seriously, and this sentence sends out a clear message to those involved that we will prosecute and you will go to jail.”
