A daredevil volunteer from who sustained a life-changing brain injury has raised cash to help others by leaping from a plane at 10,000ft.
Dayne Britten, 27, took to the skies to thank local brain injury charity, Headway Milton Keynes, for helping to rebuild his life after he suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm in 2012.
After spending 30 days in hospital undergoing major brain surgery, Dayne began the long road to recovery. Part of his rehabilitation was working as a volunteer at Headway Milton Keynes,
He said; “Volunteering there has given me a purpose and really helped to build up my lost confidence. It feels good to give back and help others by tackling the skydive challenge.”
Sam Booth, Service Manager at Headway MK, said: “Dayne is a highly valued member of our support group, and his incredible spirit and tenacity to achieve – both with the fundraiser and in life – is phenomenal.”
