A head for heights and a big heart? That must be skydiver Frankie Munden, who is about to leap 10,000ft in aid of Florence Nightingale Hospice (FNHC).
Frankie, who lives in Shenley Church End, will be joined by 10 other skydiving buddies on May 10 as they raise essential funds for FNHC, which supports both in-patient and at-home palliative care services for families battling life-limiting illness and around the county.
And it is going to be a busy time for her, because Frankie is getting married in April.
She said: “I have done a jump before so should know what to expect, but it is still a little scary.
“There’s still time to take on a sky dive for Florence this year, as we have another jump pencilled in for September 6 – perhaps I’ll see how I get on first, before I sign up again.”
