Snow problem for Santa

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the Snozone in Xscape as Santa brushed up on his sledging skills ahead of Christmas Eve with two of his reindeers at the weekend.

The jolly man in the red suit ho ho ho’ed all the way to the piste as Rudolph and Dancer pulled his sledge through the Xscape shopping mall as part of the Christmas activities at the Snozone.

Although more used to real snow at this time of the year, the festive reindeer seemed unfazed and welcomed attention from skiers and children alike on the slope.

Elf Emma of Real Reindeer was on hand to talk about how Rudolph and Dancer survive in the freezing temperatures of their native Scandinavia.

And Santa gave plenty of encouragement to the youngsters who had the chance to brush up on their own sledging skills before handing out presents to all the good boys and girls who took part.

Children aged three and over can meet Santa and take part in the sledging experience at the Snozone every Saturday and Sunday between 10am and 12pm until Sunday, December 22.
