Specsavers to offer glasses MOTs to care home residents

STAFF at a Bletchley opticians will be visiting a city care home on Wednesday to offer eyecare services to residents.

Specsavers staff in Bletchley, located at 110 Queensway, will visit Dovecote Manor to offer free glasses MOT’s and answer any questions or concerns the residents have about their eye health.

Alan Haywood, manager of Dovecote Manor, which is part of the Excelcare group, said: “It is so kind of Specsavers to come here and offer their eyecare services to the residents. We really appreciate all help and volunteering as it contributes greatly to making their lives easier and more comfortable.”

Store director, Bhavesh Kotecha, said: “We are more than happy to lend a hand and give a little back in the local community. Eyecare, even something as small as fixing a pair of specs, should be available to everyone.”

The staff will also be offering free glasses cases and magazines during their visit.
