Spooky goings on this Halloween

This Halloween the Cricket Pavilion in Great Linford will be a scary place.

From 10am to 12.30pm on October 26, kids can let their imagination run wild in Halloween Arts and Crafts. There will be pumpkins to make lanterns, black pointy hats to decorate, spiders hiding in spooky webs, and much more.

This activity is free to attend and open to everybody over the age of four years old. Children under 16 years old need to be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. For families and small groups of up to 5 people, there is no need to book a place, everybody can just turn up. For larger groups, please contact Monique at least 2 days beforehand.

For information on this and future activities by the Railway Walk Community Group call Monique on 07801 686 027 or email rwe@btcv.org.uk.

This event is part of the Milton Keynes Railway Walk Experience Project, which has been awarded £65,000 of funding to improve the area. The money was given by WREN, a not for profit business that awards grants to community, environmental and heritage projects across the UK. The funding will go towards improving access to the Milton Keynes Railway Walk and creating a place for local people to escape to and enjoy.

Peter Cox, managing director of WREN, said: “BTCV and The Railway Walk provide an interesting and educational programme of activity which offers something for everyone. We’re delighted that the project continues to be successful and popular and works so closely with the local community. WREN is proud to work with projects like this, that make a real difference to local communities, children and families.”
