Sporting success for Emerson Valley School at Milton Keynes awards event

The two PE coaches were declared the most inspiring in Milton Keynes, the Sports Personality award went to Robertas Barkauskas and the Values award was given to Fatmata Sankch, for determination.

And they didn’t stop there - the school also went away with the Self-Belief award.

Headteacher Mrs Mathison says the school uses ‘Olympic values such as determination, passion, respect, honesty, self- belief and team work.’

> Last month, Emerson Valley School took eight pupils to Wimbledon, which they hope will be the start of an annual tradition.
