Stepping up for charity

HUNDREDS of people turned up to paint the town pink to raise money for two breast cancer charities – and keep fit at the same time.

Members from the Rosemary Conley Diet and Fitness Club in Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard, Newport Pagnell and Bletchley got together to enjoy a Pink Aerobathon.

Around 80 women donned the colour and enjoyed a massive group workout with exercises ranging from Aerobics and Boxercise to Zumba.

One of the instructors, Maria Burnell, said: “I was delighted with the turnout at the Pink Aerobathon. It was an easy way for members to get involved in fundraising and keep fit at the same time.

“Many members themselves or their family and friends have been affected by breast cancer and they wanted to offer their support during the recent Breast Cancer Awareness month.”
