Steps in time with Flavia & Vincent

Prepare to be swept off your feet when sensational dance duo Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace return to Milton Keynes Theatre with their smash-hit show Dance ‘Til Dawn.

After stealing hearts on the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, Vincent and Flavia dazzled dance fans nationwide in 2010 when they sashayed away from the confines of the ballroom and into theatres with their first stage show, Midnight Tango.

The former world champions have been dancing together for 20 years.

Unsurprisingly, their irresistible partnership and sizzling signature Argentine Tango proved to be a recipe for onstage success.

A triumphant tour of regional theatres and a spectacular stint in the West End got the pair hooked on the buzz of theatre.

They further thrilled audiences last year with slickly-choreographed production number two – Dance Til Dawn.

It’s an affectionate spoof of the girl-meets-boy romantic comedies which typified the golden age of Hollywood. Combining musical theatre, a plethora of dance genres, romance and comedy, the show is inspired by the likes of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, and Gene Kelly and Cyd Charisse.

Glamorous costumes, iconic musical numbers and breath-taking dancing will effortlessly transport you back to Los Angeles in the 1940s for this classic love story and vintage whodunit rolled into one.

The narrative sees some cunningly clichéd characters caught up in a murder investigation.

Behind the scenes of a Hollywood movie company, matinee idol Bobby Burns is murdered.

Admittedly, he had been asking for trouble by cheating on beautiful starlet Sadie Strauss (Flavia) with a shady gangster’s girlfriend.

Meanwhile, handsome rising star Tony DeLuca (Vincent) has had his eye on Sadie for a while and is coming to realise that she is the girl for him.

As Tony and Sadie’s burgeoning romance develops, a plot to frame Tony for Bobby’s murder comes to light.

Can the lovers use their flawless footwork and spellbinding choreography to Tango and Quickstep their way out of trouble and into each other’s arms?

The show is packed full of witty wise-guy one-liners, playful comedy moments, some splendid signing and, of course, lots of dancing.

Vincent and Flavia may be best known for their intensely passionate Argentine Tango routines but Dance ‘Til Dawn promises a smorgasbord of exciting ballroom and Latin styles – this captivating couple are set to dance the night away.

Dance ‘Til Dawn returns to MK Theatre from Monday until Saturday April 18.
