The Stony Stratford Conservative Club celebrated its centenary last week.
To mark the occasion of the club first being registered at 77 High Street, members enjoyed a day of entertainment, including music, buffets, cream teas, raffles, bingo and a quiz.
Research had been carried out looking into the history of the club, which showed the building as an old school, and information and old photographs were displayed.
Other displays included old photographs of Stony Stratford and fundraising events. There were also photographs of holidays and day trips that had been enjoyed by members over the years.
Memorabilia of various past celebrations at the club throughout the years, including VE and VJ Day, the Queen’s Jubilee and the Royal wedding, were also shown.
Margaret Devereaux and George Fleet, the two oldest members of the club at the age of 99, also attended for a liquid refreshment.
