The fake tan has faded, the blisters have healed and the body glitter has finally washed away – it must mean that Celebrity JustDance 2015 is over for another year.
On Saturday, hundreds of people gathered to watch 12 celebrities perform three dances at the charity event to raise money for Keech Hospice Care.
The winner, Vicky Morris from Luton, said it was “one of the best” nights of her life when she picked up the glitterball trophy after 12 weeks of training with professional Adam Edwards.
She said: “Life is just a collection of memories, and boy did I make one to cherish for the rest of my days.
“I had one of the best nights of my life and it’s thanks to the JustDance team for putting the phenomenal show together.”
Judges Mark Lunn, Richard Arnold, Gareth Unwin, Yvie Burnet and Darren Gough, handed out 10s to MK Dons director John Cove for his performances that saw him and dance partner Kristina Von Pfeffer dress as mascots Donny and Mooie.
While it was fun to stay at the YMCA with Iain Stewart MP who, dressed as a copper, brought tears to audiences’ eyes.
Organisers say they expect to exceed last year’s £36,000 raised thanks to generous donations from supporters of the celebrities, plus an auction and car raffle on the night.
