Students put on a beauty of a show

A cast of twinkle-toed dance students are perfecting their pirouettes and getting into character ready to present an adaptation of The Sleeping Beauty this weekend.

The Rosemary Lane School of Ballet & Theatre Dance will stage the iconic fairytale ballet at Stantonbury Theatre on Friday evening, with a further two performances on Saturday and a Sunday matinee.

Students of all ages and levels – from tiny tots in the pre-school classes to the dedicated advanced dancers – are preparing to bring the tale of true love reawakened to life.

When the big day arrives, Carabosse interrupts the graceful dancing of the Good Fairies to cast a wicked spell.

Expect stunning costumes, flocks of fairies and plenty of dancing.
