Wavendon Senior’s Charity Day for Willen Hospice was an “unbelievable success” once again.
During the day, 88 golfers took part in teams of four in a putting competition, while there was a raffle, auction, donations and beat the Pro competition thanks to pro Andy Rouse.
The total amount of money raised on the day was £3,400.28.
Organiser Alan Rollings said: “This is the third year we have held this event at Wavendon Golf Academy for Willen Hospice and it has gone from strength to strength each year.
“As it has been so successful again this year we have already set the date for next year - Friday, June 17 and our aim is to achieve the magic figure of £4,000.
“I’d like to thank everyone who took part, including the sponsors who very kindly donated prizes for the auction and raffle, the golfers, all the people that helped out on the day and the staff at Wavendon, without all of you this would not be possible.”
