GIRLS don’t find drunken violence attractive.
That is the message of a revamped campaign being launched for the festive season.
The ‘I support lads that don’t fight’ scheme was brought in by SaferMK in the summer to co-incide with the football World Cup to help reduce alcohol related violence.
The campaign will once again be led by Maria Strolia, who won a competition to front the first scheme.
She said: “The reaction from the public last time was so positive. I am delighted I can once again help get the message out that girls don’t find drunken violence attractive.”
Public place violence reduction co-ordinator, Natalie Webster, said: “When we ran the campaign in the summer we had people coming up to us and asking where they could buy the pink T-shirts the bar and door staff were wearing.”
