A cycle powered cinema and children’s art workshop are among the activities planned for the event, on May 21.

Cycling organisations and council officers will also be on hand to give information and advice on how you can switch to using more sustainable transport.

And you will be able to test your own fitness level with the Electric Pedals Extreme Tea Challenge.

“This fun day is a great way to get involved and show people that sustainable transport is a fun, healthy and cheaper alternative to the car as well as being more environmentally friendly.”

The cycle cinema will show a variety of films and cartoons throughout the day.

It is powered by teams of cyclists. To volunteer your services email [email protected] or simply turn up on the day and prepare to peddle!
