A Milton Keynes church is setting up a slate for the saviour - by meeting on Thursday evenings at Revolution Bar.
St Mark’s Church will meet every week at the XScape venue, and say it is in keeping with both the church’s history and Jesus’ own life.
The congregation began life with a carol service in a cinema and now meeting each Sunday in the Buszy
Vicar Paul Oxley said: “Most evenings in a bar people experience joy, hope, love, rejection, friendship and usually all before realising that the glass is empty and feelings have gone. But Jesus seemed to spend a lot of his time with party people, who were searching for meaning to life that didn’t evaporate at closing time.”
