A former takeaway restaurant owner has been fined £4,000 for breaching food hygiene rules
Mr Mohammad Rashid, 60, former owner of Tasty Fried Chicken in Bletchley, pleaded guilty to two counts of breaching hygiene regulations when he appeared before Milton Keynes magistrates.
Council officers found the premises were filthy with the standard of cleanliness ‘extremely poor’.
Mr Rashid has since sold up and the new owner is complying with hygiene standards.
A council spokesman said:“We will always act quickly when we believe there is a serious risk to public health and in this case we had no choice.”
