Tanker destroys foot bridge at Willen Lake
A 25-tonne tanker has 'damaged' a footbridge at Willen Lake this morning.
With the Race for Life taking place at the lake this morning, the tanker, which was arriving for the race, attempted to drive over the footbridge at Willen Lake South redway, causing huge damage.
"MK Council staff are securing the area and an inspection of the extent of the damage to the bridge will take place on Monday," Milton Keynes Council confirmed on Twitter.
