Tattoo show leaves its mark on new city


INK fanatics will be ‘drawn’ to Kents Hill Park Training and Conference Centre this weekend for the second MK Tattoo Convention, writes Georgina Butler.

This two day extravaganza promotes the world of tattooing and piercing and returns this year with an assortment of entertainment.

With two floors of vendor, exhibition and entertainment space there will be plenty of tattoo artists and a tattoo museum to illustrate some of the most amazing art ever show on skin.

The very best designs will be celebrated in the tattoo awards while special seminar sessions will explain the nitty gritty reality of understanding tattoos, with topics ranging from Pigmentation Technology to Needle and Laser (sign up at

There will also be fire eating and snake performances, graffiti and tarot-reading on the cards for a cool combination of entertainment.

Enjoy flavoursome blends as you smoke a waterpipe in the Shisha garden or, if you like your refreshments traditional you can’t go wrong with the hog roast.

The After Party (7pm ‘til late) will feature top DJs.
