Teenage boy robbed on redway

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after 15-year-old was robbed.

On Saturday, around 9.30pm, the boy was walking along the Redway towards Kiln Farm.

While he was walking along the High Street in Two Mile Ash he walked past three men who were heading in the opposite direction towards the shop. As he continued along the High Street between Thorncliffe Road and Sedgemere he has approached from behind and pushed to the ground where he was held down by his body and legs by both offenders.

One offender demanded his phone to which the victim told the him that he did not have a phone. The offender then demanded the Apple iPod that the victim had been listening to. The iPod Touch and earphones were physically removed from the victim before the offenders ran off.

The victim then spoke to a lady who was walking a dog and was advised to call the police.

One offender is white, aged between 16 and 17-years-old and between 5ft 9ins and 6ft. He is of medium build and was wearing a white hooded top with the hood up, with white Umbro trousers and he had his face covered and wore gloves.

The second offender is 5ft 9ins, of medium build, and was dressed in black with his face covered.

Detective Constable Wendy Cissell, said: “I am appealing for anyone who saw the incident to contact police.

“I would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the offenders or someone trying to sell them the iPod Touch.”

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the incident, which left the victim shaken and upset.
