Teenage boys on BMX bikes try to rob woman in Bletchley

Two teenage boys on BMX bikes tried to rob a 39-year-old woman as she walked through Bletchley.

At 7pm on Thursday the victim was walking through the alleyway between St Patrick’s Way and St Catherine’s Avenue, when the two rode up and asked for cigarettes. She said she didn’t have any so they then demanded money or her phone and one went to grab her but missed, they then rode away.

The first offender was white, aged around 14 or 15-years-old, with a small to medium build, roughly 5ft 2ins tall, short brown hair and had a pale complexion. He wore a black baseball cap with an image on it, a dark-coloured Nike tracksuit, and rode a chrome BMX.

The second offender was also white, the same age as the first boy, but had a bigger build and was slightly taller, with short black hair. He wore a black baseball cap with a white dot and white beading going down the rim to the peak, a black Adidas tracksuit with three white lines on the trousers, black trainers and a silver chain. The BMX he rode had remnants of stickers that had been removed.

Any witnesses can call police on 101, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
