Teenager escapes robbers on Milton Keynes redway


An 18-year-old man ran to safety after three men threatened him with a knife during an attempted robbery on a redway near Willen Park in Milton Keynes.

The victim had just told the offenders he didn’t have anything in his pocket when one of the men produced a knife.

The teenager was able to get way before anything was stolen during the incident at 3.45pm on Friday.

The first offender is white, 5ft 9ins to 5ft 10ins tall. He was wearing a grey hooded top, black tracksuit trousers, a black scarf covering his face which had a black and white pattern..

The second offender is white and about 6ft tall.. He was wearinga blue Nike jumper, dark-coloured tracksuit trousers and white trainers, with a blue Nike symbol.

The third offender is black, 6ft 2ins tall and of stocky build. He waswearing a black hooded top with black tracksuit trousers.

Anyone with information should contact Det Con Susan Russell from Milton Keynes police station via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.
