Teenager stabbed outside shops in Milton Keynes

A teenager is in hospital after he was stabbed outside shops at Shenley Church End this afternoon.

Police were called to reports of an assault at 2.38pm.

A police spokesman said: "A teenager has been assaulted, sustaining stab wounds that are not thought to be life threatening."

He added: " He has been taken to hospital. The incident occurred near to the shops in Shenley Church End."

The investigation is in its very early stages, so further details are likely to follow, say police.
