Thames Valley Police uncover £1.5million heroin plot in Milton Keynes

Heroin with a street value of £1.5million has been seized from an HGV in Milton Keynes.

Thames Valley Police has charged one man and arrested another after the seizure of the large quantity of class A drugs from an HGV in Kingston Industrial Area on Wednesday, April 23.

Joshua Liversedge, 23, of Crompton Street, Liverpool, was charged at Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court yesterday with conspiracy to supply a class A controlled drug. He was also charged with driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence, use of a motor vehicle without third party insurance and use of a motor vehicle without a valid test certificate.

He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court later today.

A 54-year-old man was also arrested in relation to the same seizure and remains in custody.
