To celebrate the launch of its brand new upmarket dry-cleaning service and fifth birthday, the award winning ZipYard in the intu Milton Keynes held a lucky dip event last week with prizes for everyone.
There was a party atmosphere throughout the day with cakes and refreshments and first-time customer Mary Mason pulled out the ‘lucky zip’ ticket, winning a year’s free dry cleaning up to the value of £250.
Every customer visiting the ZipYardon Tuesday won a discount voucher off a garment repair or alteration service.
The ZipYard opened its doors in April 2013 bringing the high-quality garment repair and alterations service to Milton Keynes.
It has won the Intu Shopping Centre’s award for best customer service for the past two years running.
All work is carried out in-house by the ZipYard’s own professional seamstresses who can pin up alterations in the centre’s private dressing rooms.
In response to customer demand, the ZipYard has now expanded its services to include luxury dry cleaning. Items will be hand finished and hand pressed to the highest standards.
The owner of the ZipYard in Milton Keynes, Russell Golding said: “Customers have been asking us to do dry cleaning for the past two years but up until now we had not been able to find a supplier able to carry out the high standard of dry cleaning we would require. Other ZipYards in neighbouring towns have been using this company with glowing reports so we are absolutely delighted that we can now offer a much needed high-end full dry cleaning service.
“We had a great day celebrating five fantastic years at the Intu shopping centre with regular and new customers. Everybody entered into the party spirit and Mary was absolutely thrilled to win the big prize on just her first visit to our centre.”
The ZipYard is located on the first floor West Walk above the O2 store.
