Thieves steal copper pipes in Bletchley burglary

Thieves tore up and stole copper piping and other plumbing materials during a burglary in Bletchley.

Between December 27 and December 30 thieves got into the house in Langdale Close and lifted floorboards to access the materials.

Detective Constable Chris Oakman from Milton Keynes police station said: “This included the removal of floorboards and would have entailed the offenders being in the property for a reasonable amount of time.

“Almost certainly this would have resulted in a fair amount of noise, did you hear or see any suspicious behaviour near the property?”

Any witnesses can call police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
