Thames Valley Police (TVP) tweeted at 4pm yesterday saying they had to close Whaddon Way junction of Melrose Avenue, in Bletchley, which is where the incident happened.

Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service (BFRS) was also called to the scene and said it sent one fire engine and one crew to deal with the incident.

A BFRS spokesperson said: "No-one was trapped or injured. Firefighters assisted TVP and used an environmental protection kit to contain a small fuel spill."

TVP said the road was reopened as soon as firefighters made the scene safe.
