MYRA Tiffin’s performing Arts School have spent the past year working hard in various touring productions, hitting the West End stage and taking exams, but now they are back on home turf, and ready to show the fruits of their work-hard labours.

The pupils, all aged between four and 18 years, will be delivering routines to music as far ranging as Gershwin and Beyonce!

“Whether they are dancing, singing or acting their fully costumed routines will display their versatility, dedication and professionalism,” say those behind the show.

Performances begin this evening, with further chances to view nightly through to Saturday, at 7.30pm.

Additionally, a Saturday matinee will roll from 2.30pm.

Tickets are £12.50, two pounds less for concessions.

Call and book on MK 324422.

> Auditions are being held at MK Theatre on Sunday for the new Stage Experience production of Guys and Dolls.

Some 150 young performers aged between 10 and 21 years old will be picked to take part in the oddball rom-com, set in the Big Apple and with a score that features the classic Luck Be A Lady Tonight (and the entirely less savoury Take Back Your mink).

Performances – between August 30 and September 1 – will take place following two weeks of intensive tuition and rehearsal, led by a team of industry professionals and the MK City Orchestra.

> THE Open Film Society presents the French offering Gainsbourg, on Wednesday evening.

‘A must for any fracophile or fan of Serge Gainsbourg. We track the path that led from his Jewish childhood during the Occupation to his role as a provocative and self-destructive singer-composer.’

Make tracks to the Open University Lecture Theatere on Walton Hall in time for 7pm to view.
