Three elderly people in hospital after car crash in Milton Keynes

Three elderly people were taken to hospital after a crash between two cars in Milton Keynes yesterday.

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following the ‘serious injury road traffic collision’.

At 11.45am yesterday a grey Mercedes GLS and a green Rover 200 were in collision while travelling from the A5 roundabout towards Bow Brickhill.

An 82-year-old woman, who was a passenger in the Mercedes, was taken to Milton Keynes Hospital with neck pain.

The driver and front seat passenger of the Rover, a 93-year-old man and an 87-year-old woman, were extracted from the vehicle by Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service and were taken to Milton Keynes Hospital.

PC Liz Johnson, of the Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing, said: “Collision investigators attended the scene I would request anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the vehicles being driven prior to the collision to contact police.”
