Three people trapped and road closed after Milton Keynes crash

Three people had to be cut out of a wreckage after a car and lorry collided in Milton Keynes this morning.

It happened just before midday at the junction of Oldbrook Boulevard and Grafton Street in Oldbrook.

Firefighters from Great Holm and Bletchley arrived to release two women and a man using hydraulic rescue equipment.

V6 Grafton Street is currently closed with traffic congestion southbound between the H6 Childs Way junction and the Oldbrook Boulevard junction.

Recovery work is ongoing while police direct traffic.
