Three-vehicle collision closes two lanes on the M1 in Milton Keynes

The collision, reported this afternoon (April 13), involved at least three vehicles.

A collision involving two lorries and a car has caused on the M1 southbound in Northamptonshire with two lanes being closed.

The collision took place at 3.20pm between junctions 15 (Northampton) and 14 (Milton Keynes) and involved a blue Ford Focus and two lorries.

Highways England said that the event is expected to clear between 5.45pm and 6pm later this evening and traffic is currently reported to be coping well.

A spokeswoman for Northamptonshire Police said that there does not appear to be any serious injuries.
