Toilet chat for the oldest radio station in Milton Keynes

Having announced they will be relaunching in a disused toilet block, DJs at CRMK - MK's oldest radio station - have been spending their weekends doing DIY on the premises in Newport Pagnell.

And they’ve done a fantastic job too, transforming an ivy-covered shell into a tidy studio space.

“This exciting project will ensure that Milton Keynes continues to have a fully independent station,” said Newport Pagnell & Milton Keynes councillor Paul Alexander, who also DJs for the station.

“Shows will be broadcast by local people, for local people, and indeed to the whole world.”

A call is now going out for new members and future listeners to support the crowd fundraiser for the remaining materials and equipment necessary – £3000 is needed by the end of June.
