Tractor 'severely damaged' in blaze and dog who got head stuck in wall saved by Milton Keynes firefighters

The emergency services were called out to two incidents, two hours apart, in Milton Keynes today (April 22).

At around 1:15pm a tractor was severely damaged in a fire in a field by Little Linford Lane.

The fire spread across a 30m x 30m area, somehow the tractor wasn't completely destroyed.

The Bucks Fire and Rescue Service sent two engines to the scene. Firefighters used one hose reel, one set of breathing apparatus, beaters and a lance, to extinguish the flames.

Earlier at 11:30am, a dog got trapped in a garden wall on Cottingham Grove in Bletchley. Firefighters were able to rescue the dog, without causing harm to the animal.
