Section of Milton Keynes closed due to rising flood water

A section of the Milton Keynes road network has been closed due to the rising flood water, MK Council has warned.

In an update published on the council's Twitter feed this afternoon, it was announced Little Linford Lane has been CLOSED due to rising water levels.

A spokesman said: "Please avoid this area and use an alternative route.

"The flood gates have been closed."
