A 600 metre section of the eastbound carriageway on the A421 will be closed temporarily from 8pm on Monday, October 19, until 6am on Tuesday, October 20.
Milton Keynes Council, which is responsible for the works, said this closure will allow essential work to take place.
The M1 will be open for diversions or motorists can follow the signs on the A422.
