Milton Keynes police have reported an A-road closure following a collision in icy conditions.

A HGV crashed into a ditch on the A509 Chichley to Olney, Police confirmed the road is now closed.

The report states that those involved in the collision sustained minor injuries.

The Police issued a reminder to those who have to drive today amidst lockdown restrictions to be careful given the tricky and potentially dangerous weather conditions.

Thames Valley Police announced the closure of the A509 Chichley to Olney following this collision

A spokesperson for the Thames Valley Police said: "A509 Chichley to Olney currently closed due to collision. Peugeot on roof in ditch and HGV damaged following collision on ice. Minor injuries, but sheet ice across the road. Be careful if driving. Think ice."
