Driver dies after his car crashes into hedge in Husborne Crawley and bursts into flames
A driver died at the scene of a crash in Husborne Crawley on Saturday (December 27).
The vehicle, a silver VW Polo, crashed into a hedge on Ridgmont Road, Husborne Crawley, at around 8pm and burst into flames.
The driver – the sole occupant of the vehicle – was pronounced dead at the scene.
The family of the deceased, a man aged in his 50s, have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
Police are unclear how the victim’s car left the road and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
