A four-vehicle pile-up is causing huge tailbacks on the M1 between Milton Keynes and Northampton early on Friday morning.

Highways England are warning drivers are facing delays of up to 1½ hours travelling from junction 14 northbound at 7am.

Two lanes are blocked and drivers are being advised to seek alternative routes where possible during the morning rush hour.

Northamptonshire Police have reported there are no serious injuries.
