Further Gritting scheduled this evening across Milton Keynes

Ringway MK has announced its next gritting session as the potential for more snowfall in Milton Keynes remains until Wednesday (February 10).

Ringway MK which grits the roads on behalf of the council will be back out at 5PM to complete further gritting across Milton Keynes.

Gritting and precautions have been put in place to deal with icy weather conditions over the weekend.

The Met Office yellow warnings for snow remain in place for Milton Keynes until 23:59 on Wednesday.

A spokesperson for MK Ringway said: "With road surface temps forecast to drop as low as -4.7 deg c overnight, the gritting teams will be out on their evening run from 5pm. Please ensure you drive to conditions."

Main access roads and the grid network were gritted from 2AM this morning (February 8), MK Council confirmed.
