Gritters out across MK as temperature is expected to drop below freezing tonight

Ringway MK, which carries out the gritting on behalf of the council, said the weather is expected to drop as low as minus four degrees Celsius tonight (Thursday).

Because of this, Ringway said on Twitter, gritting was planned to start later this afternoon as a preventative measure, and to also make the roads safe for motorists.
